About DRIVE

Drive is an explosive Rock band hailing from Western New York. Multi-instrumentalist and song writer Nori Bucci is joined by her brother Mark Bucci (drums) and Ken Myers (bass/Moog Tarus) to blend searing vocals, shredding guitars, and over-the-top rhythms to their songs.  Known for bringing stunning guitar work inspired by classical, heavy metal, blues, progressive rock, medieval, and funk, Drive brings theatrical energy, marrying costuming, and melody to a modern rock performance. You can expect well known cover material and also some genre defying original material at their shows.

Musician Bio’s

Nori Bucci – Award winning multi-instrumentalist Nori Bucci has release two self-produced full length LP’s to critical acclaim. Featured in Guitar Player magazine (2020) as one of the top female guitarists, she began playing guitar at the age of 9 and excelled at mastering this and other stringed instruments. Nori has played with many well known top bands including national recording artist Gamalon, and many well known local artist including 7th Sign and Tribal Reign. Nori now has broadened her musical horizons forming an instrumental/original/cover band in a stripped down power-trio format with her first drummer (and brother) Mark Bucci, and long time friend and collaborator Ken Myers.

Mark Bucci – A virtual hurricane percussionist, Mark brings an intensity that is unparalleled. He has performed his sister Nori, studied percussion with Ron Thurman (Navigator, Thurman Bros.), and played countless shows in several other regional and WNY A-list groups.  His technicality and versatility is the compelling force behind Drive.

Ken Myers – Another multi-instrumentalist, Ken has toured internationally with The Rave-Ons (Buddy Holly tribute), and shared the stage with a variety of national and local artists over the years (Green Jello, Ricky “Quicksand” Martin (Charlie Musselwhite/Albert Collins), John Valby, Stephen Persey (Ratt), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters), Gov. Mule, Toast, The Incredible Venus Flytrap, Mark Freeland (Electroman), and The New Toys.
